- Product Development: Guidance on creating and refining products to meet market demands.
- Licensing: Assistance in understanding and obtaining necessary business licenses.
- Funding Guidance: Strategies to access capital for business growth.
- Networking Opportunities: Platforms to connect with industry experts and peers.
The program also covered essential topics such as business planning, bookkeeping, financial management, marketing communication, and quality control.
Program Objectives
The primary goal of the Seeds for Success Incubation Programme is to support early-stage startups in the food and agri-processing industries, including businesses in restaurants, catering, fast food, food vending, food retailing, fast casual dining, fine dining, bartending, and consumer packaged goods. By providing a supportive ecosystem, FABHub aims to simplify the process of starting and growing a business, thereby reducing the challenges that often hinder the success of early-stage enterprises.
Graduation and Pitch Competition
The program concluded with a pitch competition, where participants showcased their business ideas. Ophelia Asumeng's brand, Sammy Rich Enterprise (kose powder), emerged as the winner, followed by Caleb Ayisih's AbotsiHOT Original (kheebab) and Enyonam Akpabey's Meal DuJour Catering (cookies) in second and third places, respectively.
Future Prospects
FABHub plans to continue the Seeds for Success Incubation Programme, aiming to empower more entrepreneurs in the food and agri-processing sectors. By fostering innovation and providing essential resources, the program seeks to drive economic growth and improve livelihoods within the community.
